Golden Faith
*title inspired by this HK drama that I'm currently seeing*
Ada yg udah nonton drama itu?
Hm lagi pengen cerita ttg ini nich soalnya hehe... and no, this is not a review hehee I usually put chinese movie/drama review in mix-flava site.
Well, last night after watching Golden Faith episode 10, it got me into thinking...
To those of you who perhaps, have no clue what the storyline is about, in short, this drama pictures a story of life - life with its good and bad choices. Life that value friendship, family and love. Life that deals with business, money and deceptions. It shows how hard it is to move away from the 'evil' side. To compromise its deals without hurting anybody from both good and evil side. (don't know if that is even possible, coz of course, you can't serve both parties)

Anyways, watching this drama, even at its early stage, I could see what the storyline wants to show its audience. There's gotta be so much we can learn even from a movie/drama.
Golden Faith is what it takes to live a better life. A person who used to deal with "dirty-money" business cannot easily driven away from it, even when he/she is willing to do so. Ding Shanben (played by Gallen Lo) and his dad have to make most of the hard choices even when there are no good choices to choose. We, too, sometimes, have to make a choice whether we like it or not.
Golden Faith is, I think, necessary to live our lives peacefully. To be able to trust someone when others see him/her differently. To put our faith in that lines - between good and bad, between friendship and family, between love and hate, between right and wrong. Shanben's dad loves him so much, it is such a heartwarming them both. It kinda reminds me of the Father's love. He just wouldn't let anything get in the way to his son's happiness. And it will take such a faith to trust a love like that.
Bottom line, this drama is an excellent choice to see & learn. No wonder I heard such a good review about it in the past years. hehe.. and it'll get even better as I continue watching it down the road.
