now and a week before
A week before, hm I mean last weekend, at Easter bazaar ;) Yeah yeah I know it's kinda late. But, better late than never, right? :) Hm, I've changed the look of this blog last Friday coz it has been 'bugging' me of how slow the loading usually takes. It turns out because of the coding, ya know, the html, the java script and blah. And so I thought, well, maybe this is the time to make it 'simpler'. What do you guys think? Is it better?
Faster loading?
But anyhoo, yeah, I love simple things. Simplicity rules :P
Aight, Easter has passed for a week, and so there's still some time left to show off some pictures that I took after me and my cousins bought Indo foods from that Indo Bazaar. They usually held a bazaar every Easter in the church parking lot. And every year, the church always full. What I bought? hm, let's see.... putu mayang (they sell it for $3.50 a packet. wuih mahal.... :P), trus ada siomay bandung (I loveeee siomay :P hm berapa yah harganya? *lupa*), kue mangkok (or loucee calls them 'kue cangkir' or cupcakes ^^ hihihi bisa beda term gitu yah), hmm then ada batagor, sate babi, nasi padang, but too bad, they don't have martabak manis this year. No good! huhuhu.
Here's the kue mangkok. Hmmm yummy :)~
Those foods actually tasted as good as it looked *slurp* if some of you are wondering ;) Now, this weekend went very gloomy. LA weather is pretty much still the same unpredictable. Just when I thought springtime is finally here, but we've been getting a mid 50s this whole past week. Even today it was raining and the temperature at home was chilly. I even wore PJs and sweater, plus socks hihi... it feels like winter all over again xP
Went to my cousin's place, and we bought fried chicken at this Vietnamese restaurant, which I called first and the convo went pretty much like this:
"fried chicken? how many order?"
2
"how many? one?"
.... (???) *grmbl grmbl* Two!
"alright"
how long?
"2 minutes"
(click)
Heh? 2? two minutes to cook 2 orders of 2 whole hen chickens? wehioehiehie... I was kinda surprised, and no, she didn't even asked my name. Weird though, but whatever. We got there 10 minutes after, and the chicken wasn't ready :P I hate that. What's the point of having a pick-up order, when we called first, but after all, we still had to wait there for another 10+ minutes? =P
But hey, anything for chicken, I guess. hehe. Went back to my cousin's place, and we decided to watch A Guy Thing from the On-Demand Showtime. This movie is also one of Julia Stiles movies, but not one of her best. A so-so story, about this guy, Paul (Jason Lee), his fiancee and the girl he met on his bachelor party who ended up to be his fiancee's cousin, and also the true love of his life. Not-so romantic movie, but yet a comedy.
A light movie for a light weekend.
Oh yea, do check my korean movies' site for the drama I've been watching since last week, Into the sun. Just click above under kmoofee, and you'll see this drama review. A good one, I must say. The story is about two guys who loves the same woman. Guy A is a military officer (angkatan laut), an honest persistent handsome guy, who will fight for anything that he loves, including the love of his life and his only younger sister. Guy B, a doctor, is a smart, sleek, also handsome guy who will do anything to get what he wants. I haven't finished this series, but already sneak peak the ending. hehe. *penasaran :P*
OK. That's on Foods and Movies.
Music? I've been listening to ADA Band "Ough" a lot! Super enak lagunyaaaa...
Relationship? Hmm, I'm still kinda pissed off about last Friday's 'joke', so I didn't pick up his calls hihi. Whatever ah. We'll see how it goes as the week approaches.
Oh yeah, I found this blog, belong to Linda, and admired it so much. I like her writings, I love looking at those pictures, plus, she has this unique hobby. Take a look at it here: for her blog, and for her doll's blog. Hihihi....lucu yaaaah... ;)
