Mr. Big?
Hehehehe.. judulnya gitu amat ya? hayohh ga bole pada get any funny ideas *grins* :P Well, hmm I was kinda wondering why they called him, "Mr. Big". You know, Chris Noth, playing as John, in Sex and the City, an HBO series about 4 fabulous single women.
From the beginning when I was first 'introduced' to this series (thanks Mike! =P you made me an addict now hehehee), I watched not from the beginning, a.k.a 1st Season, but starting from the 5th Season. Hehehe.... and I love it! Great series, great plots, great characters, which make the whole show just simply... fabulous. Have you seen it? then you'll know what i'm talking about.
Nowadays, I've been watching it again, but this time, from the 1st Season. After getting the first 2 seasons off the bittorrent network, I decided to watch it from the beginning now. It's kinda interesting to see it from the middle part, you know,... kinda makes you wonder, What happened before? or Who is this, really? this Mr. Big? Where did he come from, or how did they meet? makes me intrique by the idea that they finally got together in the end. It was a very nice closure, happy ending, cinderella-ever-after kinda-like ending.
Today, I went back to Barnes & Noble, and got myself the book, the Sex and the city: Kiss & Tell collection book. It includes all the 6 seasons, with a foreword by Sarah Jessica Parker. The book was twenty bucks, and I perhaps could get it cheaper if I buy online. But otherwise, I thought, oh why not? I wanna get my book now :P and so I took one home. Simply great collection if you really is a big fan of this show. A must-have book for reference. It shows about 750 full-color pictures in there, and by this I know well now, I'm a big fan whehehe. Oh and by the way, the cover sucks. I don't know why they pick that picture for a book cover :P I guess cleveage does selling, eh?
Mr. Big is the love of her life. Carrie Bradshaw (played by you-know-who, Sarah Jessica Parker), met him on the street in Manhattan, right on the Pilot episode. It was told that they kept on bumping to one another, and so they decided to actually make a date. And the episode I watched today was from the 2nd Season, episode 22 "The Caste System", where Carrie thinks she's at a major disadvantage just because she accidentally told Mr. Big she loved him (over a gift of a very strange full-of-diamond-looking purse that he gave her), and Mr. Big didn't say it back. He looked kinda surprise when she said that, and was giving her this fuzzy look. And for the whole episode, we see how she became very insecure because he didn't say it back.
I was thinking, girls do that. Freaking out, out of nothing. Hehe... Was it a big deal to say "I love you" first? To us, girls, yes it is a HUGE deal. Especially when the guy didn't response back. Haha.. I remember the first time someone told me that he loves me, was before he left the door. I was standing at the door, and he was about to leave. And as far I can remember, I did what Mr. Big did haha. I didn't say it back =P But anyway, at the end of that episode, Mr. Big called Carrie in the morning. She was with someone...hehe a guy. He said something like this, and I still think it's so sweet of him hehehee... Jarang2 cowo tuch bisa sensitive :P Mr. Big said to Carrie: "Listen... I know what you really pissed off about.. it's just something I gotta do in my own time. you know? well, ... i'm fuc*in' love you, you know that right?... " Aw~ so sweeeet. hehehehehe.... He is a guy who can't just do what other people tell him to do. He has his own time-frame, and sometimes, we girls, don't realize that. Sometimes girls want the guys to be responsive in our time frame.... within our schedule, and hey, a lil sweet talk wouldn't hurt us, rite? hehee *chuckles*
Hey girls, one advice for you out there.... give a guy a chance to 'swallow' :) He'll come around when he's ready. within his own time. and most importantly, within God's plan, hopefully. Just yesterday I learned that, just because someone was doing his 'disappearing' acts on me these past few weeks, it really doesn't mean that he completely forgot about my existence :P I was being insecure for no reasons, and even though I still kinda pissed off about it ... but I gotta learn to just relax, and enjoy the show? haha... :P Dah ah,...ga mo curhat disini bowk... kekeke... :)
